# Method Steps:

02 - Cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise to yield 24 shorter strips.
03 - Wrap each cocktail smokie with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
04 - Place the bacon-wrapped smokies seam side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
05 - Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top of each bacon-wrapped smokie.
06 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until bacon is crisp and sugar is melted and caramelized.
